
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has issued a draft of its finally finalized interim rules for the hemp industry, the basis for CBD. They answer a lot of questions with specifics generated by the Farm Bill of 2018 that legalized hemp nationally but didn’t provide a whole lot of guidelines. This set of regs — condoned by the White House but not yet put into law — helps clarify lots of fuzzy areas of the law.
