The single most confusing part of the CBD story today is its legality in food and other products you ingest. While CBD is legal in all 50 states by an act of Congress signed into law by the president, there is overlapping jurisdiction from the Food & Drug Administration on products it regulates.
Now, individual states are taking the matter of food and beverages containing CBD into their own hands. The latest is Florida, where such products are now legal since the first of the year. While it does provide some clarity it also adds to the uncertainty as one sells from state to state.
